A beautiful picture. It has been said that the movie caused controversy, but the nuts that protested the film, and actually hadn't seen the film at all for the most part, are the ones that really caused the controversy.
As a Christian myself I had to look past the fact that it is not based on scripture and see that it really just shows a more human side to Jesus Christ, one that makes me appreciate his life and what he did even more.
