Absolutely brilliant portrayal of the life of Jesus. While not an exact regurgitation of the gospels, the humanization of Jesus pays off not only in the form of a more dramatic movie, but also with a deeper understanding of the struggle of Jesus's life.
The film illuminates the struggle between good and evil within all of us. The call to do the right thing, and the call to do what we desire. Masterful.
