Probably the best religious film ever made and also the film that portrays Jesus in the most humanly way possible. I am an atheist, but I appreciate the inner struggle that Jesus has, and Willem Dafoe acts the hell out of the messiah.
This is intense and kind of a mindfuck at times, although it is beginning to show its age. Regardless, this is very good. I recommend this film no matter your religious beliefs!
