Review of The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) by Ryan B — 21 Jun 2008
While every Jew in the movie sounds like they're from Brooklyn, and Peter Gabriel's music score has aged poorly, this is a fascinating look at some dude I know next to nothing about. That said, I got a pretty good look at "Jesus the Mortal" and his temptations, gospel, and crucifixion.
There were some good performances here, despite the shitty accents. Entertaining, if overlong. I don't see why everyone got so pissed off at this movie. Anyone who did should fuck themselves with a crucifix.
