79. House of 1000 Corpses. (2003) Yep, I watched this nutty crap again, but with commentary. Rob Zombie?s ?Here?s {actor?s name}, and he?s going to {names the actors next action}? gets a little old. But he does manage to reveal a few tid-bits about the fun and/or problems they had getting this crazy movie made; such as the fact that the Universal Studios Park was very close to where they did much of the filming and often The JAWS Ride would ruin takes. Maybe that just served to up the cruel nature of the stuff they did for this. Oddly, I?m a fan of many of Zombie?s influences. I relate to a lot of this and feel like I should be making weird movies too. L Anyway, it?s not a total waste of time to watch it this way. Interesting note, Bill Moseley who plays Otis is a Yale grad. 7/10 (for the commentary).

80. The Last Supper. (1995) One of my favorite yearly viewings (nearly 10 years running). I love this black comedy (but still don?t have the DVD)! It?s about a bunch of liberal uni students living together in a house. They come up with the idea to invite people to dinner and grade them on whether the death of that person would ?make the world a better place?, and if so, they poison that person. Writer/actor Jonathan Penner is on the reality show Survivor this year. I didn?t realize that until I started watching it and it took 2 weeks for me to recognize him. I thought it was going to be some surprise reveal about it later on in the season. D?oh! Anyway, his wife Stacey directed this and although there is obvious meandering (stretching for time) in places, it?s mostly great! The soundtrack is also cool. I?ll never let October pass without watching this. 8/10 (nostalgia upgrade 10/10).

81. Jurassic Park 3. (2001) This is a very good sequel and a GREAT monster movie. The new dino spinosaurs is scary as hell! I?d have a heart attack if I was as close to that thing as the cast is. There?s one scene where they all get away from that monster and start laughing & giggling, I?m thinking ?no way! You?d all fall on the ground in shock if that really happened.? But it doesn?t matter. Just mindless popcorn action with several sequences a little too familiar. Still, I love it! If only Godzilla 1998 had been this compact and exciting. I can?t wait to see JP4 in 2008. The effects have just kept on getting better. 8/10.

82. Ginger Snaps. (2000) A violent werewolf movie for girls. No kidding! It has a lot of stuff young girls can relate to; plus, plenty of violence (for their boyfriends seeing it with them, I guess). The 2 main characters act like real sisters who are trying to deal with ?the changes? one of them is going thru. Very clever, often nasty, dark and dreary. Ya gotta love it! 7/10 .
