Review of The Last Station (2009) by Roger T — 17 Feb 2010
So, it pretty much goes like this: Captain Von Trapp has like, LOST it, okay? His lifestyle and existential perspectives have now gone so far off the f***in' map, it's literally driving Queen Elizabeth the 2nd out onto a ledge! And it's up to our hero - Narnia's creepy Goat Boy - to try and keep things chill in the Land of Purple Kool-Aid People, right? If only it weren't for that diabolical, mustache-twirling John Adams, who keeps tryin' to stir s**t up between them all so that the sounds of music in Von Trapp's melon can be stripped from the royal family and granted to the people of Russia.
<---- Yeah. That premise would've been MUCH more interesting...
