Review of The Last Station (2009) by Nina S — 06 Oct 2011
I was surprised at how funny some of this movie was. I chuckled quite a bit. I dont know much about Tolstoy and haven't read any of his stuff but still an insightful movie about Tolstoy and his wife and their relationship before he dies.
The way she deals with her husband as a person while others are treating him as a prophet, including some of their own children. She helped him create the works he did but has been dismissed by his followers.
A very intriguing relationship. The movie is well worth checking out.
