Review of The Last Station (2009) by Paul P — 11 Dec 2011
This movie is not for everyone, but I liked it. The characters are so passionate, specially Hellen Mirren's. I liked all the themes in this, a wife that feels alianated by her husbands fame and success, a man who wants to create a movement in spite of what that would mean, a disciple who is let behind the curtain and witnesses the humanity of his one hero.
At least that's what I got from it. Plus it doesn't hurt that James Mcavoy is whose point of view we share, and well...I love him!
