Review of The Last Starfighter (1984) by Colin M — 01 Sep 2007
Thank god for Midnighters! This movie is outstanding for it's 80'sness. That's right, I said it. I remember this film from when I was a kid, and it was just as awesome today.
There were cheesy lines, "You bet your asteroids!" It was set in a trailer park. The film did absolutely nothing to raise the suspense that saving the galaxy should have, and yet it is still fabulous. This movie is like Labyrinth. Bad in a good way.
I hope to find a DVD of this film at some point. And a poster, I would love to have a poster.
