Awesome slab of 80's sci-fi, resplendent with early cgi that still puts that King Kong remake to shame. Then there's the plot - kid gets high score on arcade machine then gets whisked off to outer space to play the game for real.
That's just pure class. Be sure to note the 'what the shit?' line as delivered by the annoying little brother. Has anyone ever said this before? Will anyone ever say it again? I think not.
Now that's originality. Great helpings of retro fun and a good starting point for the underrated drinking game: 'Whatever happened to Lance Guest?'.
