Review of The Last Seduction (1994) by Kaarla O — 13 Dec 2007
The first time I saw this movie in the theater I hated it. The second time I saw it, about ten years later, I absolutely loved it. What made the difference was my new appreciation, not only for the film noir genre, but for the main character as well, Wendy Kroy, played by the sultry Linda Fiorentino in one of her best roles to date.
She plays the type of woman that sometimes we women fantasize about being, but (fortunately for men -and for us, too) actually never are: cunning, amoral, completely selfish and self-involved and clever enough to get away with it all in the end.
