Review of The Last Picture Show (1971) by Benoit F — 24 Jan 2008
An every second wonder...this story of love and hate in a small town in Texas reveals an excellent acting and let you discover some well known actors at the beginning of their career(it's the first film for Cybill Shepherd), not to mention Randy Quaid's hair cut !
Peter Bogdanovich wanted to make a classic, so the camera work serves only the story, it's beautifully shot in B&W which gives the film a time-less touch.
