Review of The Last Picture Show (1971) by Aaron W — 07 Mar 2008
The Last Picture Show is one of the single most moving expiriences that I have had with a motion picture in a very long time. Shot in a bleak Black & White the film works because it is about tones and moods and growing up more than it is about Sam the Lion or the boys.
It sucks you in and breaks your heart.
