Review of The Last Picture Show (1971) by Zachary B — 11 May 2008
An exciting piece of 70's cinema. Despite taking place in the 1950's this film feels timeless. The relationships are raw, sexy, frustrating, and human. Mistakes are made, lovers become entangled with other lovers.
What a beautiful web that Bogdanovich weaves.
