Review of The Last Picture Show (1971) by Aditya M — 05 Dec 2011
Nostalgia, sex and eroding innocence run through this movie like a river, and to watch it is to be caught in its seductive, tragic current from the opening scene. This is a brilliantly directed masterpiece that manages to capture a place, a time and a mood with beautiful and artistic precision.
One of the best films I have seen.
