Review of The Last of the Mohicans (1992) by Larry D — 19 Dec 2010
Great epic movie with one of the best endings ever. Daniel Day-Lewis shows his range (as always) by being an "action hero" and the movie manages to have a great love story without bogging it down.
The script does a nice job getting a lot of the book in without the book's problems. Add in a great soundtrack and perfect scenery, it gives the feel of what it might have been like to be in an untouched America.
