Review of The Last of the Mohicans (1992) by Edgar C — 04 Sep 2011
Mann's entertaining punch to the face is absolutely his most underrated film. With an irresistible romantic aura and with a breathtaking pace and visuals, we are taken through a wild ride of powerful proportions on par with films like The Mission (1986), and certainly more effective and better overall than Mann's later efforts including The Insider (1999) and Collateral (2004). It's a really great feature and the director's promising achievement for the 90s.
86/100.
