Review of The Last Legion (2007) by Colin F — 17 Oct 2008
Better than I thought it would be and I really had no expectations. Here's a film that couldn't have been made if not for the LOTR films. Apparently, very different from the novel but I enjoyed the cast and the story kept my interest.
It has solid action and some decent humor with a fantasy-fabled story. It may not hold true to legend but it ties in nicely to the legend of King Arthur in the the end. The DVD is full of some great special features making this a must for fans of this genre or at least a solid rental.
