A crap movie, but ah, what an enjoyable crap movie! The overwrought and implausible fight scenes coupled with sub-par special effects, clichéd dialogue and wanton desecration of history made it feel like an extended episode of Xena: Warrior Princess, despite Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley gamely pretending to take their source material seriously.
Terrible, predictable, and guiltily entertaining.
