Review of The Last Kiss (2006) by Jason C — 17 Oct 2008
I shall begin by saying that poor Zach Braff maybe an excellent actor but he is sadly typecast and he will forever be JD from Scrubs. Starting the movie witha voice over by Braff only reafirms this and wassa rather silly move on the filmmakers part as it was just like an episode of Scrubs.
It's a credit to movie that despite never seeing Braff as anything over than JD that it still draws you in and is quite a sweet little flick. Rachel Bilson is gorgeous in this pic and plays the naive youngster to perfection.
. Jacinda Barrett however steals the movie with her beauty, cuteness and acting range. You really believe that she is crushed when JD cheats on her and the movie is worth watching for her performance alone but luckily it has more going for it than just the awesome Barrett.
