Review of The Last King of Scotland (2006) by Sam H — 06 Jul 2009
Excellent portrait of Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. Forest Whitaker gives a tour de force performance as the insane Amin. Amin's inhumanity and child like need for love and adoration is conveyed with frightening realism by Whitaker.
James McAvoy deftly portrays the tortured Dr. Nicholas Garrigan. Highly recommended.
