Review of The Last King of Scotland (2006) by Adam C — 05 Aug 2010
Forest Whitaker's Academy Award win for Best Actor was well deserved for his role as Idi Amin. Hands down the best element of the movie. Overall the film was very satisfying. Very well directed, good cinematography, and a pretty solid script. It was a unique way of looking at the reign of the vicious Ugandan leader by viewing it through the eyes of his personal physician.
Highly recommended.
