Review of The Last King of Scotland (2006) by Ryan M — 01 Feb 2012

Finally came to get this on my Netflix list. I was watching this and didn't seem anything wrongwith Amin at first. But as the story kept going I found out why he was hated throughout.

The graphic scenes were almost necessary to show what he was capable of. Then to just turn around and have a whole other attitude. Supriseing.

Whitaker deserved the oscar for this role because he did an amazing job. Gillian Anderson is slowly appearing in more movies, which is good. McAvoy did a good job as well but if you watch this strictly for Whitaker's perfomance, you won't be dissappointed.
