Review of The Last King of Scotland (2006) by Mike G — 20 Jul 2013
This is one of my favorite movies; not because of the graphic nature of the storyline, but because of how well it was done, and how well the story was told. In my personal opinion, this was one of Forest Whitaker's best acting roles.
It is a very sad story, but one that is real and needs to be told. The mixture of comedy, drama, suspense, and even gore is so well done, that this movie deservers to have the great reviews that it has gotten.
