I LOVED this movie, Forest Whitaker was truly amazing. If this is indeed what Idi Amin was like, it's not surprising he won over the country when he first came into power. I look forward to "The Rise and Fall of Idi Amin", an 80s movie on the same subject.

Nicholas Garrigan was a composite character, he never really existed so that takes away from the film, but even so the film is brilliant in spite of its low budget and Gillian Anderson never looked hotter!
