Surprisingly well made remake, that is packed full of hi-tension and good ideas. Over the years iv'e grown used to my favourite movies, fall victim to fast cash-ins or at best assembly line cinema. 'Last House on the Left' 2009 is thankfully neither. There's also a slight twist to the story and more plot development in the new version. I'm really pleased that they chose not to tamper with the nastiness of.
Tone as most of horrors today are relatively tame, take no risks and play rather like 'Honey i'm Home Alone'.
