Review of The Last House on the Left (2009) by Kevin S — 04 Mar 2013

This starts out with a group of people killing two guys and then with a girl visiting her friend at work which is a little convenient store and in the store comes this strange kid. He comes up to the counter and asks for cigarettes and the girl ask for his id. He ask her to do him a favor and let him have the cigarettes and he will do her a favor and give her some his pot.

So he takes them back to the hotel room and they are smoking the weed when this group comes back and it's the ones the killed in the beginning and it turns out the kid is the son of the one guy and another is his brother and there's a woman too. They drive the two girls out to the woods where they both get beat up and the one gets raped. They end up running to this vacation house which is where the girl that got raped parents are and they found out who they are and what they did to their daughter and exact some revenge on the criminals. I must say I was very impressed with this movie. It is a remake too which I'm not to fond of but I will make an exception for this because I thought this was a very good movie. I didn't think it was scary but sort of creepy and it is a keep you on the Edge of your seat thriller.the acting was great enough to be creeped out and there are some good twists. Not a big fan of remakes but this movie was great and I really liked it.
