Review of The Last House on the Left (2009) by Jimmy R — 25 Dec 2013
"If bad people hurt someone you love...How far would go to hurt them back?" I love that tagline...To me, this is that one best remake out there these days, very good in story and music. But number one the director and the actors were the best.
This film actually has u on the edge of your seat, it makes u feel emotional for the characters and their situations. I think this remake of Wes Craven's original one showed what happens in the world these days.
Due to the seriousness of this film, I would prefer you be only 17 or older to watch it. (But then again I wasn't 17 at the time it came out) If your under 17, make sure you can handle serious situations and watch the film for what it is and not what it isn't.
.. (for example, the film is not a hardcore porno) its just a film that shows the truth of the world, and what happens to innocent people most of the time...I found a couple of messages and themes in the film, that can relate to teenage life and their situations that they get stuck in.
