Review of The Last Exorcism (2010) by Katrina W — 24 Jun 2011

I had been trying to see this movie for months and was finally able to buy it used before actually watching the movie. I have to say that the first hour or more of the movie is very good. It was an original twist on a documntary like movie that started to get into something more eerie towards the end. I really liked the art direction; as well as Patrick Fabian who played Cotton Marcus and Ashley Bell who was Nell Sweetzer.

What I was disappointed in the most was the ending. I found it strayed into the rediculous and wasn't as entertaining. There wasn't a lot explained. I wasn't expecting the turn, it didn't make sense with the original flow of the movie and it puts a sour taste in my mouth. I wish it had been more cohesive.
