Review of The Last Exorcism (2010) by Matthew M — 29 May 2011
Although it may not be as original or good as some of the previous entries in the "exorcism" genre, its Blair Witch style mockumentary, its creepy atmospheres and the idea at the very heart of the film still provide jumps amongst the sighs of "seen this before".
The ending does not do the hour and a half preceding it any justice, but the overall outcome does exactly what it's designed to do: scare the hell out of you.
