Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Matthew M — 14 Jan 2019
This film is a joy to watch for the visuals alone and there is a lot more to watch this movie for like the humour doesn't feel forced for the sake of it being a spiderman or should I say spider people movie.
The jokes hit and are genuinely funny and the references to Sam Raimi's trilogy give that great sense of nostalgia too even for a brief moment or two. Fisk as the villain felt perfect for this as his backstory that was shown really connected with Miles as they have family in common in this story.
This movie is a joy for the whole family. Die-hard spiderman fans or casual viewers or children alike will adore this movie as I have.
