Now, exorcism is a terrifying subject, as proven by many movies, but in The Last Exorcism⦠it just seems a bit silly. I was not scared at all. The âBlair-Witch Styleâ? cinematography is a good idea, but doesnâ(TM)t work really well here.

A lot of lines seem dumb and phoned in, I even laughed at some. Also, the ending was just⦠quick and I wound up with more questions than answers. There were a couple of good scenes (there is one near the opening where the leads ask for directions which was pretty good), but besides that, nothing really special.

Sub-par acting, silly writing, non-frightening, just a lot of stupid for me that I will not be able to give much higher than what I have given it here.
