Review of The Last Exorcism (2010) by Grady H — 15 Jan 2014
Stemming from the Blair Witch Project "found footage style", this movie effectively brings a some refreshing originality to the horror genre. Most movies on the subject of exorcism tend to be Exorcist carbon copies in terms of scares and characterization of the demon.
However, this movie does a great job of underplaying the realism of the girl's possession, making the setting very creepy and setting you up for an ending that was very unexpected and original.
