First of all, undoubtedly brilliant color, soundtrack, grand background settings and cinematography. Secondly, the film showcases a most human and plausible facet of Pu Yi, China's last emperor, that I was immediately absorbed and definitely felt sorry for him.

How an Emperor of Ten Thousand Years turned into a most ordinary people. The film was very long, but every minute is carefully carved and has its own value. I was stunned and magically fascinated by the ending.
