Review of The Last Emperor (1987) by Fred T — 17 Apr 2008
Wonderful, yet a slow-paced, cruel look at the last chinease emperor, Pu Yi. The movie sees all the transitions of China during the first 50 years of the XXth Century, passing through the japanese invasion to Mao's arrival and raise.
It's really good, too bad the movie's all in english and doesn't balances it with chinease.
