Exceptionally beautiful film, every shot or frame in this movie is a masterpiece. Great performances by John Lone and Joan Chen, as well as a talented array of supporting cast members and extras. The shots of the Forbidden City should be cherished even apart from the rest of the movie, and Bertolucci definitely brings out the landmark's beauty.
Definitely a must-see for film buffs and biopic fans.
