What an incredible story and this film told it beautifully with the scenery, performances, music and cinematography. Some of the historical facts could have been a bit clearer though, and it was strange that they had the whole film in English opposed to Chinese with English subtitles.
That however, is my only criticism. Such a fascinating, but very sad part of China's history. I wish it didn't have to play out the way it did for him.
