Review of The Last Dragon (1985) by Chanda W — 10 Jun 2008

I love this movie!! It is definately a good memory from my childhood. Back then seeing a young black man as a master in martial arts was so exciting. It made me realize that, I too could be like "Bruce Leroy".

Although I never went that route, as a child it was mind blowing to see a "hero" who was the same race as me. For those viewing this movie for the first time in this decade, you probably can't relate to it if you're looking for something with a "Matrix" vibe to it.

The bottom line of the movie is, do you got that glow? Do you believe in yourself enough to know that you're the only person who can "elevate" yourself to be the strongest person you can be.

No one else can make you believe that, it has to come from you. I hope they make a sequel one day....
