Review of The Last Castle (2001) by Mark R — 26 Mar 2008
This movie has a cast that on paper is supurb. The movie raises the question of whether James Gandolfini can act outside the mobster framework. The movie is carried by the commraderie of the men inside the prison, but it is mired by predictability.
In light of the strong performances throughout the movie and the gripping action, even though it was easy to guess what was coming next I would recommend this movie to people who are fans of the the action and thriller genre.
