Review of The Last Castle (2001) by Sophie G — 19 Apr 2009
A fantastic film and a great story. Robert Redford stars as a classy, albeit demoted leader with a determination to see the best in others. "Once a soldier, always a soldier" rings true throughout.
Full of action, suspense, and characters you'll love (along with the one you'll love to hate), it also has a fantastic musical score that backs the story perfectly. This is one of the greats as far as modern prison movies go.
You'll be on the edge of your seat until the very last moment.
