The Last Broadcast builds suspense and interest slowly over the course of more than an hour, but it ultimately never pays off. It fizzles instead of igniting at the end. A creepy and interesting look at Internet chatrooms from the 90s, The Last Broadcast feels a little dated, but that ultimately does not detract from it as much as its lack of a compelling finale.
