I allwas thing of Die hard when I see this movie..but is even better then that..whit Damon Wayans, action packet in Bruce Willis Style.A down and out former secret service agent (Willis {from the lame but swingin Carter administration}) grudgingly teams up w a disgraced former NFL quarterback (Wayans {from the f*k the y'all, I'm a free agent and I'll put my foot in your a*s late 80's) } to blow the lid off an illegal sports gambling ring. With the help of some C4, a foul mouthed little Anti-Blossom, and an impressionable Tony Scott, a divided nation was again, free to dream.... Bruce Willis and Damon Wayons never made goin, and indeed, bein bald as a mofo , so f*kn exciting . So what happens, you ask? Only the best Action-Buddy-Comedy flick since Beverly Hills Cop 2, minus Bridgette Neilson!..... Wack, but hype also.

Seriously, "TLBS" is actually a very original, entertaining and funny action flick. Set in a more "keepin it real", "y'all crazy", "Are these pants tapered enough?" vision of Los Angeles than today, "TLBS" embodied the doubts of a generation where "the whole hair thing" was simply deader than Duran Duran..... And seriously, those Schwarzenegger one-liners just weren't cutting it anymore... What are these guys REALLY feeling when they're watching Halle Berry eat lead in slo mo? Hint: not "Holey Cow.".

"TLBS" kicks out where "Die Hard" ends and rolls out the original red carpet for that whole thinkin dude's 90's action flick - bloody with self awarenes, dry to the bone with "I'd never call that guy a nigger to his face", but pass the popcorn, Bitch.

All I gotta say is if you can remember watching "Resevoir Dogs" on VHS in 1990, you weren't really there. They taught us how to curse that day.....It's like Oliver Stone took Tony Scott to a cave in the Mojave Desert and made him wash a half ounce of mushrooms down with a fifth of tequila before pulling Quenton Tarentino out of the trunk.... armed. This is literally how "True Romance" got made - no joke.
