I saw this when I was in junior high and I liked it back then. After seeing it again, it still offered a little more than your standard teen sexploitation film. I forgot how cool the music was, but I had never noticed that they reused several songs over the course of the movie.
It starts out sort of episodically but then pulls together a narrative thread in the second act. It really captures the way this part of life is perceived by the "nice guy".
