Review of The Last American Virgin (1982) by Damian O — 14 Oct 2006
A repulsive but heart warming and ultimately winning movie. Unlike its contemporaries it captures the awful clumsy desperation of teenage virgins trying to score with girls and the existential dilemma of reaching the ends of childhood innocence and the grimy, unclean reality of sex.
I watched this movie on tbs at 3 o'clock in the morning in high school and was struck by weird, funny, and dated it was.
