Review of The Land Unknown (1957) by Keiko A — 19 Apr 2010
Easily laughable dialogue, rubber suit dinosaurs, lizards inside a minature set, and an actor named Jock Mahoney? How can you go wrong? This black and white big budget sci-fi movie was quite a film for Universal, but sadly, it was just pretty generic, and became easily forgotten about.
But looking back, this movie has all the elements necessary for a B-movie, including using stock-footage to try to incorporate it into the story! Just don't take it too seriously, and it can be fun.
