Review of The Lake House (2006) by Aaron W — 15 Feb 2010
Lovers separated by distance (or in this case time) is always a theme that interests me. Sandra Bullock was her usual lovely self and Keanu Reeves tried pretty hard to be lovely, as well. The idea of two people being separated by two years and yet developing a romance is a little strange, but it was presented believably enough, with only a few moments where I really questioned "how could that happen?" This is good one to watch for anyone away from their lover who wants to believe that love is worth the wait.
Good film, not great, but definitely recommended.
