Review of The Ladykillers (2004) by Addison H — 04 Mar 2011
Maybe not as artistic or elaborate as some of the Coen Brothers' other films, but I personally fond it extremely entertaining. "The Ladykillers" provided the perfect outlet for the Coens' talent for creating hilarious and tremendously unique characters.
Tom Hanks character, a blue-blooded classicist and heist mastermind, had me laughing out loud almost every time something came out of his mouth. I would definitely say this is one of the best roles I've ever seen Hanks play.
Whether their performance be large or small, all of the other characters in this film gave me something to laugh about.
