Review of The Lady Vanishes (1938) by Sean P — 09 Jul 2008
I had fond memories of this early Hitchcock, bit didn't quite match up on another viewing. Delightful chemistry between Redgrave and Lockwood, with many funny and insightful details, particularly a sardonic view of the parochial English.
Marred by some glaring plot holes and a strange uncertainty of tone between comedy and drama.
