Review of The Lady Vanishes (1938) by Stella D — 23 Oct 2008
Great story that should keep anyone who likes mysteries and intrigue interested. The characters are kind of charming if you like dry witted British people, pretty annoying if you don't. It was filmed over 70 years ago, so the production value is low and the acting is ok at best.
It has a cliche or two, but this movie has a lot too it, and Hitchcock did his usual great job.
