Review of The Lady from Shanghai (1947) by Adam A — 12 Feb 2008
Welles' visuals are fantastic. The script is sharp and the acting is solid, minus Orson's hilariously bad Irish accent. It's a shame he didn't get final cut of the film, from what I heard his ideas would have made the film even better.
But the final climax is one that comes out as absolute brilliance, cut or not.
